To help readers keep up with the situation this page will list those changes and corrections that I am aware of, with the latest information shown at the top. Some very minor changes and certain changes too complicated to describe have been omitted. The date is the date the item was added - not the date of the event.

28-10-11 Spain 21A3 Castelo Branco to 20C3 Covilha now electrified. 23A5 Change note at Arta from ‘Opens late 2011’ to ‘Work suspended’. 42B5 show single track 25kV standard gauge track branching off north of Madrid Chamartin round onto the airport branch. Airport station is now open and the branch is dual gauge / dual electrification.
06-10-11 Austria 64C4 Passenger service withdrawn between Deutschkreutz an Neckenmarkt-Hortschon. (also 96C1). Also between 65A3 Friedberg and Oberwart (Is this line now OOU?) – (also 96B1).
06-10-11 Bulgaria 111C2 As well as being electrified the line between Plovdiv and Dimitrovgrad will be doubled.
06-10-11 Portugal Construction of the HSL between Caia and Lisboa deferred due to the financial situation. Section between near Pegoes and Lisbon may well be cancelled.
06-10-11 Hungary 97B3 Kukafa branch closed.

05-10-11 Netherlands 37A2 Maastricht to Lanaken re-opened to freight (also 52B5).
28-09-11 Poland The Mikulovice – Glucholazy – Jindrichov section is open to passengers as a through Czech service running via Poland. Only the Glucholazy to Nowy Swietow bit is closed to passengers (also 94C3). 79A2 Stroze to Biecz and Gorlice closed to passengers with bus replacement. 79B2 Zagorz to Lupkow passenger service reported withdrawn without bus replacement although still on PKP website. 75B3 Brodnica to Dzialdowo now freight-only. 74C2 Draw in a single track non-electrified passenger line from Rogozno to Wagrowiec. Trains from Poznan to Golancz are now routed this way and the Poznan to Wagrowiec line via Skoki is closed to passengers. Unknown whether this is permanent. 76A1 Passenger service withdrawn Wieliszew to Tluszcz. 77B3 Delete Kudowa Zdroj branch (also 94B2). 78C5 Radzice to 79A5 Radom is double track. 79A3 Delete Rakow Opatowski remnant. 77B2 Delete Mierzecice to Siewierz. 77C1 Delete line south of Bolecin (also 78B3). 18-04-11 Greece 105A3 Ghefyra to Axios link electrified. The Cuts: All narrow gauge train services seem to have been withdrawn on the Peloponese except 106A1 Katakolo to Olympia and Diakofto to Kalavryta. No services from 104C3 Edessa to Florina and Kozani. No cross-border services from Thessaloniki to FYROM or Bulgaria. No service (except freight) from 106A4 Pythio to Pehlivankoy and no passenger services from 106A3 Alexandroupoli to Dikea.

18-04-11 Germany 50A1 Of the two proposed sections of HSL near Priestwitz the northern one is now open.
16-04-11 Italy Service withdrawn between 87B2 Cosenza and Camigliatello Silano. Also wholly or partially suspended due to line damage between Cosenza and Catanzaro Lido. 88A5 Gioia Tauro to Palmi closed for maintenance work and to Cinquefrondi suspended indefinitely. 87B2 Delete Cosenza – S. Fili – S. Lucido line. 82A3 Del;ete Tolmezzo branch. 86C3 (also 87A3) New single track freight chord avoiding Taranto has opened.
14-04-11 Portugal 22B2 The Pinheiro to Grandola cut off is now open and electrified.
14-04-11 Latvia 114C4 Delete the note about the train service on the Gulbene line. The service is now daily from Plavinas to Madona but Madona to Gulbene now runs only around holiday periods – check.
08-04-11 Spain Ther LAV station at Albacete is called Albacete Los Llanos. 20A1 Delete Gijon Cercanias and Jovellanos stations. Approximately where Jovellanos station is show insert a new broad gauge / narrow gauge station called Gijon Sanz Crespo. 22A5 Correct name of La Sagrera station (item 15) to La Sagrera-Meridiana and show as now open.
08-04-11 Sweden 6B4 Opening of Harnosand to Ornskoldvik section deferred till 12/11. 13C1 Malmö Syd station is not yet open. It and another new station at Rosengård (about 1km north of Persborg) should open 12/11.

07-02-11 Britain: 13B4 Following the closure of the Wrexham & Shropshire train service the Wrexham - Shrewsbury - Wolverhampton - Bescot - Aston line can be reduced to secondary status. Additionally, Wolverhampton to Bescot Stadium and Aston to Stetchford (the un-named jc to the north of Birmingham International) can be shown as freight-only.
03-02-11 Germany: 46B5 Gladbeck Buer Nord should be Gelsenkirchen Buer Nord. 44A5 Fehmarnbelt Bridge will now be a submerged tube tunnel.

The station should be at the southern end of the resulting triangle; the direct east to west part of the triangle is OOU. 111C5 The line south of Medgidia has been altered. It now joins the main line in a triangle junction between Medgidia and Dorobantu. 21-02-10 Moldova: 109B2 There is a new (presumably single track) passenger line south from Cahul to a new station at Giurgiulesti in the extreme SW tip of Moldova. The line goes on, freight only, from there to join the Reni - Galati line. Not sure which way the junction faces at this point.
21-02-10 Romania: 107C3 There is a west to south freight curve avoiding Holod (also 102A4 & 99A4). 107C4 The line from Marghita should enter Sacuieni Bihor from the south end. There is also a south to east curve avoiding Sacuieni used by one passenger train a day (also 98C4). 111B5 At Slobozia Veche there is a south to east curve. The station should be at the southern end of the resulting triangle; the direct east to west part of the triangle is OOU. 111C5 The line south of Medgidia has been altered. It now joins the main line in a triangle junction between Medgidia and Dorobantu. Passenger trains thus enter Medgidia from the east end and there is a freight curve going east to Dorobantu. 108A2 show Brad to Paulis OOU (track largely stolen!). 108A2 Show a south to east passenger curve avoiding Simeria (single track?). 108A2 the Slatna branch leave Alba Iulia station from the north end. Barabant station is on the main line north of Alba Iulia. 108C5 show Gura Putnei to Nisipitu line OOU (washed out and unlikely to reopen) also 118B1. 108C5 Siet branch closed & OOU (also 118C1). 108C5 Suceava Nord station should be at the NW end of the triangle (also 118C1). 108C1 Shorten Slanic branch by 10km and make terminal station Poiana Slanic. Poiana Slanic to Slanic is closed due to a failed bridge and will not reopen. 109A1 there is an east to north avoiding freight curve to the east of Buzau. 109A2 Panciu branch leaves from the north end of Marasesti station. 109B1 the Giurgeni branch leave from the south end of Tandarei station but is now OOU. 109A1 there is a south to north freight avoiding line to the east of Faurei. 109A1 just to the west of these two lines and connected to Faurei is an electrified test track. 109B3 Falciu Nord ststion should be Falciu. Falciu Nord is a short distance to the north, branching off from Falciu station.

16-01-10 Italy: 83A1 Bologna Central to 83B1 Firenza HSL is now open (also enlargement). On enlargement add a link from the HSL to the existing line just north of Firenze Castello allowing access from the HSL to Firenze SMN station. The new HSL line station (to be Firenze Belfiore) opens May 2014.
